The major part of Central Railways were previously included the networks of Mumbai CST, Nagpur Junction Railway Station, Pune Junction, Miraj Junction, Bhusaval Junction Railway Network, Badnera Junction, Pulgaon station and many more.
It has made Central Railways to make a big to biggest route that covers a vast network of busiest route among the world. It ranks in the fourth spot among being the busiest. The Central Railways also have a large opportunities for trading facilities in terms of their Freight transport.

Northern Railways
Northern Railways are considered to be spread across a space of 16 cities along the Northernmost part of India. The Northern Railways was established on 14th April, 1952 when a separation of the part was done under the coherent of Indian Railways.
Northern Railways was set up in order to joint the sections of Eastern part of Rajasthan and Punjab with certain cities and links that were made easy for getting under the Northern Zone of Indian Railways. In this zone, New Delhi Railway Station is considered to be the headquarters of Northern Railways. It has vast stretch of about 6810 km route along the passage. Certain other big cities that lies under the belt of Northern Railways are- Firozpur Junction Railway Station, Moradabad Junction Railway Station, Mughalsarai Junction Railway Station, Kanpur Central and few others.
It is considered to be a beautiful stretch in the Northern Zone of Indian Railways as there are many scenic captures that makes it a beautiful place to go through it. Well coming to Indian Railways, the part of Northern Railways gets very much well versed with all the acquired efforts in terms of IR Team. It is believed that this zone will give it a tough fight for survival in International levels all the way round.

Southern Railway
Southern Railway is considered to be one of the olden times of Railways in India. Until the late Britishers arrived in India, and established their gateway to trading in Southern Zone of Indai, Madras was considered to be the chief trading zones in terms of Indian Railways. Southern Railway was formed on April 14th, 1951. Southern Railway has a unique system of making revenue as they provide the priority to transportation in terms of Trains in India more than any freight carriers across the state.
Southern Railways has its heaquarters in Chennai. Chennai Central Railway Station is considered to be one of the fourth busiest mode of Railway Zones in India. The Southern Railway has some important junctions like Coimbatore Junction and Erode Junction along its way. Further there are many other stations which provide a variety of access to transportation along the Southern Region of India.
Chennai Central Railway Station generates about more than five million passengers everyday for improved performance towards more strong development of the Indian Railway Zone. Broad gauge and Metre-gauge give access to people to transport within a short ranges also. Western Railway
Western Railways known to be one of the oldest forms of Railways in India when the Britishers landed up in Bombay. This project was enthusiastically drafted with 47 kilometres run between the destined place.

After the existence, Western Railway, expanded its frame to Saurashtra Railways with its merge.
